Bolt - 1U

We went for the cartoon BOLT last Sunday. I personally liked this cartoon movie, but hubby say Madagascar is better. :) I loved the idea how a dog can think himself as a Super Dog, and how he loved protecting wat he called...HIS HUMAN. Quote Bolt "SHE IS MY HUMAN!" So lovely!

Anyway, Bolt is another movie treat for Bryan. I told him few days in advance that we are going for Bolt,so Bryan was very anxious about it. Been repeating about it, just in case mommy and daddy forgot about the movie. Haha...

~he actually just woke up, and we are rushing to 1U already. Holding his current favourite cd, MyFM and ASTRO CNY songs....hehe

EEST, Westin Kuala Lumpur

We had Dim Sum Brunch at EEST Restaurant, Westin Kuala Lumpur - eat all you can from the ala carte menu. Its a "pork-less" place, so, I always believe DIM SUM is not Dim Sum without pork. HAhaha.... Its mostly seafood and chicken meat. Although limited selection, but quite nice lah. Worth a try!

Joyoga, Starhill Kuala Lumpur

Jogoya used to be the best buffet i find in town, but somehow i find that the quality of the food is not as good as before. This is always the problem with restaurant in Malaysia...very good when they just started business, then when they get famous, the food quality drop! I was very much hoping becoz this is a Taiwanese chain restaurant, they will maintain the standard, but I'm wrong lo!

I was very impressed during my first visit, fresh crab in soup, nice spread of tepanyaki, fresh coconut, fantastic deserts and all. Second and thrid visit still nice, but on my fourth visit....I was totally dissapointed. Me and hubby tot that its not worth it liao, but since they are having 50% off for ladies and I heard they are serving wine....so, we tot we give it a chance la....

Yes, wine is served, but FOOD IS BAD. Cook food served to our table is all cold...Vege...meat, seafood...all cold. Crab is no longer available, and be prepared to queue for tempura prawn and ice-cream. They limit dining for 2 hours, and alot of time spent to queue for food...For the price paid, I personally think its no longer worth it. Anyway, here are some photos to share...

~sashimi - used to have tuna and prawn sashimi - now no more

~prawn in XO soup base...use to have Crab...now no more!

C-Jade Express - Midvalley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur

Initially wanted to go for Chilis for dinner, but instead, we ended up deciding to have a quick dinner at C-Jade Express, then drinks at Chilis later....I had kong-pow chicken rice and hubby had Chea-Zai Min (Cart Noodle - HK style).

My choice is definately better than the Cart Noodle. However, I find the Kong-Pow taste is not strong enuf. Anyway, the bowl is made of stone, and really hot - even until I finish my rice..the bowl still hot. HOt food is always nice rite! :)

Hubby's Cart Noodle is special in the sense that you choose the ingredients that you want, price varies from your selection. Soup base is standard, hubby say so-so onli. I did read that the roast duck is nice, so should try next round if i'm there...

Senjyu, Sunway Pyramid

We tried out Senjyu Restaurant in Sunway Pyramid last Sunday. Rather classy interior, with the usual conveyor belt, but the whole belt is less then half filled up with sushi. Good in the sense that you will get more fresh ones la...

We ordered on main course - Udon with sause. The Udon is cold, and very different from the usual thick round noddle..this one more like Kuey-Teow. Average taste. The temaki is good.

Interesting food that brought us here is the Toro - tuna belly. Very different texture, oily and moist. Nice. They also introduced thier special Goose Liver and Grilled Oyster Sushi. This one i got no comment coz i dun like both, so, i never try. Hubby told me that the liver is too thin, so, not much taste.

Although the food here is more pricy as compared to typical sushi makan place liks Sushi King..or Genki, but its worth a try due to their specialty. For this meal, we spent around RM 130.00++
